The severity of the second wave of COVID-19 came unannounced. KSWA Yuva Parivartan responded and a plan of Covid Relief Measures was put in place to mitigate the impact created by the pandemic in the communities in which we undertake our interventions. We made our staff and communities aware of the preventive measures that need to be strictly followed to stem the spread of the virus.

All programs and internal working were moved to online platforms. Our ground teams helped us to identify the needs and requirements of the communities, largely food kits that were essential for their survival. District Hospitals, Covid Care facilities in Maharashtra, Karnataka and AP came forward and appealed to support them with medical equipment.
